Child Care Nutrition & Physical Activity Forum (NPA)

The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) is offering the Nutrition and Physical Activity (NPA) Forum at the Best Western Plus Heritage Inn in Rancho Cucamonga. Preschool teachers and family child care providers will be actively engaged in nutrition, gardening, physical activity, and wellness activities. All participants will leave with a variety of tools and resources they can immediately utilize, including the Grow It, Try It, Like It! nutrition education kit; the Food for Thought curriculum; and several books and discs.

Registration Type: The quantity will show as "1".  Each person must register independently.

Child Nutrition Information and Payment System (CNIPS) Number: Be sure to have your CNIPS number before you select "Register" to advance to the next page. If you do not know your CNIPS numbers, please enter '0'

Fees: The cost to attend the forum is $35.00 and includes morning snacks, lunch, a printed Certificate of Completion, and a variety of tools and resources that can immediately be utilized in the day care home or child care center. Although we understand that circumstances may occur that cause you to miss the forum, we cannot issue refunds; however, you may send a replacement.  

Credit Card, Check, or Purchase Order: If you wish to pay by credit card, select “Register” and follow the instructions. If you wish to pay by check or purchase order, select “Register” and under payment method, select pay by check.

Time: The training will begin promptly at 8:00 AM, and will end at 4:00 PM. There will be a 30 minute lunch break (lunch will be provided).

Confirmation: After completing the registration process, a confirmation notice will be issued by email.
